[NEWS] Hyoyeon, Yuri, and Seohyun to Attend Opening of Charles & Keith in Singapore
On Friday, August 23rd, Hyoyeon, Yuri, and Seohyun will be attending the opening of the new Charles & Keith store in Ngee Ann City, Singapore. Charles & Keith is a brand specializing in ladies accessories and footwear.
The event will kick off at 6:00 PM SGT at the store. Famous stars such as Daniel Henney, Liu Wen, and Singaporean stars Zoe Tay, Fann Wong, and Sheila Sim are also attending.
An after party will follow at 7:00 PM SGT in the specially constructed Charles & Keith tent at Civic Plaza.
Even though this is a private event, fans are still encouraged to go and support their idols.

[NEWS] Girls’ Generation to Bring World Tour to Singapore on October 12th
Singapore’s Running Into The Sun has announced that Girls’ Generation will be bringing the “2013 Girls’ Generation’s World Tour – Girls & Peace” to Singapore. The concert will take place at 6 PM local time on October 12th at the Singapore Indoor Stadium and is being presented by Carlo Rino.
Priority ticket sales for Carlo Rino customers will begin on August 23rd, and public ticket sales, via SISTIC, will begin August 24th at 10 AM. Ticket prices will range from $178 SGD to $288 SGD. In order to qualify for priority ticket sales, Carlo Rino customers may present either a receipt for Carlo Rino products or an original Carlo Rino product at SISTIC outlets.

‘Dancing 9’ Holds Preliminaries in Los Angeles
Stepping out of the border, the contestants of Mnet’s Dancing 9 flew over to Los Angeles to continue their challenge to be the next big dancer.
For the first time ever for a Korean audition program, Dancing 9 held a preliminary round in Los Angeles. For the first week of July, contestants and nine dance masters, including Shinhwa’s Lee Min Woo and SNSD’s Hyoyeon and Yuri, headed to Los Angeles to continue the audition.
Dancing 9’s CP, Kim Yong Bum stated that the reason why there will be a warm-up match overseas is to allow the contestants to meet with world renowned dancers on a bigger stage. “It was specially planned out so that they can carry on their dreams.”
CP Kim Yong Bum continued, “We also wanted to show that Korean dancers are talented enough to stand aside world renowned dancers, and to show that these skills were what allowed K-pop to spread worldwide.”
Contestants have gone through the rounds of applications, open auditions, draft into teams, and rigorous training. The preliminary round in Los Angeles will decided who will get to stand on stage during live broadcasts.

On June 26th, Hyoyeon and Seohyun attended the “Kolon Sport 2013 F/W” fashion show in Seoul. Taking the time to pose for photos, Hyoyeon and Seohyun both showed off their gorgeous looks in their own unique and elegant outfits. On June 13th, Yuri opened an Instagram account under the username yulyulk and shared a photo of herself from Girls’ Generation’s “2013 Girls’ Generation’s World Tour – Girls & Peace” tour.
Yuri is now the third member of Girls’ Generation to join the photo sharing service, following Taeyeon and Hyoyeon. Taeyeon recently uploaded a photo of herself and the members of Girls’ Generation from the world tour concerts in Seoul, and included a caption tagging both Hyoyeon and Yuri.
Yuri’s photos will be shown below and updated with their captions translated as well.

[News] SSTV Airs ‘LOVE&GIRLS’ Music Video
SSTV, a Japanese television channel, has aired the full music video for “LOVE&GIRLS”. Accompanied with funky outfits, the fun choreography in the music video is highlighted with the “shampoo dance”, rounding out the cute and colorful song. The 1000 extras in the music video are actually SONEs dancing and cheering in the background.
“LOVE&GIRLS”, Girls’ Generation’s seventh Japanese single, is set to be released on June 19th. The limited edition of the single will include the “LOVE&GIRLS” music video. The single is currently available for pre-order, and purchase links can be found here.
Universal Music Japan has also uploaded an official preview for “LOVE&GIRLS” music video.

Girls’ Generation released the PV of their upcoming Japanese single “LOVE&GIRLS“, and ‘kid leader’ Taeyeon gave SONEs an extra treat with a few behind-the-scenes photos.
Taeyeon shared on her Instagram, “Happy! #Love&Girls,” with a snapshot of Tiffany, YoonA, andJessica smiling at the camera, while Sunny and Taeyeon act silly.
She also treated fans to another adorable selca set with the caption, “Soshi pranksters;) Nanananana~,” letting fans witness Taeyeon’s hilarious transformation from a good girl into a bad one, while YoonA, Sunny, and Hyoyeon also bring smiles with their cute charms.

[News] Girls’ Generation bring in the crowd in “LOVE&GIRLS” PV
Remember how Girls’ Generation was supposed to release their new Japanese single “LOVE&GIRLS” in May?
Sadly, the release date was pushed back to June 19, but the girls have brought us a present anyway with a preview which aired earlier today on Fuji TV‘s “Mezamashi TV“! The girls filmed the MV with a crowd in a carnival like atmosphere and dance along with bright smiles. The song is happy and fun with a cute and bright choreography to match.
“LOVE&GIRLS” will come in two editions, Limited and Regular with the Limited edition including a DVD containing the music video for “LOVE&GIRLS“. The coupling track for both editions will also be a brand new track titled, “Lingua Franca“.

Childhood friends Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon and Rainbow‘s No Eul had a little reunion recently.
No Eul shared on her Twitter, “It’s been a long time since I met up with my hometown friend, sunbae, and colleague Taeng-ee. ^^ We had the same dream since childhood, and it’s so wonderful that we both fulfilled our dreams and are working hard. We keep talking about the past and bringing up our memories.”
Taeyeon and No Eul are seen enjoying a girls’ night out, enjoying some patbingsu (shaved ice dessert). The two attended Yangji Elementary School in Gwangju, Korea before meeting again as idol stars years later.

Super Junior‘s Kyuhyun, f(x)‘ Sulli, and Girls’ Generation‘s YoonA were all smiles as they showed some SM family love on the set of their upcoming ‘SKT LTE‘ CF.
Kyuhyun posted to ‘SKT LTE’s official Twitter, “It’s already time to wrap up. I filmed a CF with Sulli and YoonA today, and I think this CF will also turn out to be a fun one!~ I feel regretful that it is so short… It would be nice to meet you again soon~ Bye.” He also added a selca of himself in a matador costume and labelmates Sulli and YoonA hovering over his shoulder. Sunny turned 25 in Korea on May 15, and fans were quick to celebrate her birthday on Twitter!
The hashtags #Happy25thSunnyDay and #순규야생일축하해 (HappyBirthdaySunkyu) trended at #1 and #3 respectively within an hour of her official birthday in Korea.
Girls’ Generation recently wrapped up their Japanese arena tour and are preparing for their world tour, but hopefully Sunny and the rest of the girls can take a day off to celebrate her birthday!

[News] ‘Dating Agency:Cyrano’ provides model eye candy for viewers
It looks like one of the requirements to be cast in the upcoming drama ‘Dating Agency‘ was to be tall.
Well, of course it’s a coincidence, but when ‘Dating Agency’ released the profiles of their five main characters, excited fans noticed that all of them were as tall as models. Actor Lee Chun Hee, a former model, is 186 cm (~6’1″), Lee Jong Hyuk is 184 cm (~6.3′), Jo Yoon Woo is listed at 183 cm (~6′), and Hong Jong Hyun is 182 cm (~5’11″). And it’s not just the guys! Girls’ Generation‘s Sooyoung also boasts a tall height of 170 cm (~5’7″).
Lee Jong Hyuk plays Byung Hoon, a ‘genius director who is the Sherlock Holmes of the dating agency business’. Sooyoung plays Min Young, an ‘agent who specializes in broken hearts and is full of emotions’. Lee Chun Hee plays Seung Pyo, a ‘mystery master chef who runs the restaurant near the theater’. Hong Jong Hyun plays Moo Jin, the ‘chic & dark engineer of the dating agency’. Jo Yoon Woo plays Ah Rang, the ‘bright energizer maknae who is a master at part-time jobs‘.

Hyoyeon showed that she could completely command the stage by going through three different outfits on the May 3rd installment of ‘Dancing With the Stars 3‘!
After a successful run on season 2, the Girls’ Generation member appeared on the show for a special stage. She joined hands with her former ‘Dancing With the Stars 2′ partner Kim Kang San and performed rumba and cha cha through Michael Jackson‘s hits “Dangerous“, “Billie Jean“, and “Ain’t No Sunshine” (Bill Withers cover). She first donned a blazer, a fedora, and pants for her performance of “Dangerous”, and then threw off her blazer and pants to reveal a feathery white dress to dance rumba for “Ain’t No Sunshine.” For her cha cha dance for “Billie Jean”, she tore off her white dress to reveal short, black mini underneath.

[News] Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany to throw ceremonial first pitch for Los Angeles Dodgers
Many K-pop stars throw the first pitch for baseball games in the Korean Professional Baseball league, but Girls’ Generation‘s Tiffany is one of the rare idols to throw the first pitch at a Major League baseball game in the United States.
She’ll be standing on the mound at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on Monday, May 6 to throw the ceremonial opening pitch for the game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Arizona Diamondbacks. Tiffany will be joining top celebrities such as Victoria Beckham, Sharon Stone,Harrison Ford, and Matthew McConaughey, who have also thrown the opening pitch at the stadium.
Star Korean pitcher for the Dodgers Ryu Hyun Jin has always been a fan of Girls’ Generation, and he’ll be on the field to serve as the catcher for Tiffany’s opening throw.
Girls’ Generation has also announced Tiffany’s first pitch through Twitter, writing,

[News] Taeyeon pays a visit to Beethoven’s grave in Vienna
Taeyeon really is making the most of her well deserved break.
She’s been traveling around all over Europe, including the United Kingdom and the Czech Republic. Most recently, she paid a visit to Beethoven‘s grave in Vienna, Austria. She took a photo from the grave site and wrote on Instagram, “I met him #warm #Beethoven“.
Even though she was dressed casually and was just sightseeing, the photo looked like it belonged in a professional photoshoot.
The ladies of Girls’ Generation will enjoy their break before embarking on their ‘2013 Girls’ Generation World Tour – Girls and Peace‘ which will kick off on June 8th and 9th at Seoul Olympic Park’s Gymnastics Stadium. They will then make stops at various countries around the world.
